Van Driver/Warehouse Operative

Are you a commercial van driver? Do you have previous warehouse experience? Are you looking for a new & exciting opportunity?

Here at Halmer Recruit we are recruiting for a Van driver/Warehouse operative for our busy client in Leatherhead. This will be a perm placement but could require temping with the company for twelve weeks before moving to their books.

Role will include but isn’t limited to the following…

• Checking in parts from the overnight deliveries.
• Loading the van for deliveries.
• Driving the van & delivering goods to clients.
• Helping in the warehouse with general warehouse duties.

The ideal candidate will have the following…

• Full UK driving license.
• Previous commercial van driving experience.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Must be okay with manual handling/lifting and able to work on your feet for long periods when required.
• Must be able to commit to working 40.5 hours per week.

Hours, Days & pay.

• Monday to Friday.
• 40.5 hours per week.
• Mondays – 7am until 5pm.
• Tuesday to Friday 7am until 4:30pm.
• £27,500 per annum once perm. (You will temp for at least 12 weeks before they will look to offer you a perm placement.)
