BTE Underwriting Assistant

BTE UNDERWRITING ASSISTANT – BRISTOL – £22K – £27K WITH HYBRID WORKING

My client is a leading name within general insurance and they are currently recruiting for a BTE Underwriting Assistant to join their growing team in Bristol.

The BTE Underwriting Assistant will be primarily responsible for :

• You will be reviewing and actioning new and renewing standalone business and underwriting scheme business renewals
• You will set up new business schemes and work closely with other internal departments to resolve aged debt and unallocated cash queries and occasionally assist with bordereaux processing
• You will work within your underwriting authority and adhere to SLA’s whilst supporting the underwriters.
• You will have the ability to plan, prioritise and organise your workload effectively.

What I am looking for:

You will have at least 6 months office based experience, good level of education (min 5 GCSE Grade C+) upwards, good working knowledge of MS Office and good numeracy and literacy skills.
