Goods in Assistant/Warehouse Operative

Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for our busy client based in High Wycombe on a permanent basis.

Duties include but aren’t limited to the following…

• Report to Warehouse & Logistics Manager
• Assist Goods In Team Leader with day to day warehouse duties
• Loading and unloading of lorries / containers
• Take delivery of materials into warehouse, check quantity, quality and store
• Move goods between and around warehouse
• Assist with daily cycle checks and end of year stock take
• Palletise and wrap finished goods out.
• General warehouse duties

Ideal candidate will have the following…

• Previous warehouse/goods in experience.
• Full UK Driving licence.
• Goods in experience.
• Forklift experience would be great but is not a deal breaker.
• Sage 200 or Stock management software knowledge would be great but not a dealbreaker.
• Knowledge of warehouse health & Safety. (There will be in-house Health and Safety training which must be completed.)
• Must be a punctual person, who is great at working alone but also great at working as a team.

Hours Days & Pay…

• Monday – Friday.
• 8:00am – 4:30pm. Occasional overtime offered.
• 30-minute lunch break. 15-minute break in morning and afternoon
• £25,000 PA
