Assembly Assistant

Here at Halmer Recruit we are currently recruiting for an assembly operative to join our busy client based in the West Molesey area.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for long term, on going temp work! Potential to go Permanent.

The role will consist of but isn’t limited to the following…

• Using written instructions to assemble small & large appliances.
• Using diagrams & drawings to assemble small & large appliances.
• Collecting parts, jobs & units from around the warehouse.
• Doing metalwork to make filters
• Working with guillotine, spot welding machine, rivet gun some other hand tools.
• Using hand held tool to tighten bolts & screws.
• Moving built appliances around the warehouse & loading them on vans for delivery.
• Working alone & as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have…

• Great understanding of both written & spoken English.
• Previous warehouse or assembly experience.
• Have steel toe capped safety boots.
• Be available asap & able to start work by August 1st.
• Be okay with manual handling & occasional heavy lifting.
• Happy to work a day shift
• No Amazon experience needed.

Hours, days & pay.

• Monday to Thursday 7am to 5pm.
• Fridays 7am to 2.30pm
• £11 .44 + Holiday pay = £12.83 per hour
• Weekly pay, one week behind.
