The Opportunity

We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team in Woking.

This is a hands-on position involving goods in, order picking, packing, dispatch preparation and general warehouse duties. You will help ensure stock and customer orders are handled safely, accurately and efficiently.

The role offers a basic rate of £12.71 per hour, plus £1.53 per hour holiday pay, giving a total hourly rate of £14.24. The shift is 8:00am–4:00pm.

Previous warehouse experience would be useful, but it is not essential. Applications are also welcomed from reliable candidates who are comfortable with physical work, able to follow instructions and keen to build their warehouse experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and check incoming goods.
• Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Prepare goods for dispatch.
• Move, sort and store warehouse stock.
• Complete general warehouse duties as required.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working environment.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures.
• Work effectively with other members of the warehouse team.

Requirements

• Comfortable undertaking physical and manual warehouse work.
• Able to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment.
• Able to follow instructions and workplace safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to travel to Woking for an 8:00am start.

Previous experience in warehousing, goods in, picking, packing or dispatch is desirable but not essential.
