The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Production Operative to join a successful, manufacturing company based in High Wycombe. This is a full-time temp to perm opportunity offering excellent training, weekly pay and genuine long-term career prospects.

The pay rate whilst temporary is £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay, giving a total pay rate of £14.24 per hour.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys arts, crafts or working with intricate items. If you have hobbies such as jewellery making, model building, embroidery, miniature painting, circuit board repair, sewing, nail art or any activity requiring patience and precision, your skills could transfer perfectly into this role.

You’ll be working with small, high-quality components in a clean laboratory-style environment where accuracy and attention to detail are key.

No previous manufacturing experience is required. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Assembling small precision components by hand
• Using small hand tools to prepare and finish products
• Working under a microscope to complete intricate assembly tasks
• Carrying out detailed quality inspections
• Identifying and reporting defects
• Following detailed production instructions
• Maintaining high quality standards throughout production
• Recording completed work accurately
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Supporting the wider production team to meet daily production targets

Requirements

• Excellent attention to detail
• Good manual dexterity
• Strong hand-eye coordination
• A steady hand when carrying out intricate work
• Good eyesight (corrective lenses are perfectly acceptable)
• Patient and able to concentrate on repetitive tasks
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Previous manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8-hour rotating shifts between:

7:00am – 7:00pm
