The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Inspector / Production Quality Inspector based in Aldershot, Hampshire. This is a full time temp to perm opportunity working Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 5.00pm.

The pay rate is £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay, equivalent to £14.24 per hour inclusive.

This Quality Inspector / Production Quality Inspector role offers the opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement are at the heart of operations.

As a Quality Inspector / Production Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in maintaining product quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. Working across multiple production areas, you will carry out inspections, identify defects, support quality improvements, and help ensure products meet customer specifications before progressing through production. The role involves inspecting products against approved samples, artwork, works orders, and production standards.

This position would suit someone with previous quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, or production experience who has a keen eye for detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out scheduled and unscheduled quality inspections throughout production areas
• Inspecting products against approved samples, artwork, proofs, and production specifications
• Checking print quality, colour consistency, finish, adhesion, and overall presentation
• Identifying defects, non conformities, and process issues
• Supporting quality assurance and quality control processes
• Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation
• Gathering inspection evidence including photographs and samples where required
• Communicating quality concerns with production and management teams
• Supporting corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
• Assisting with investigations into recurring quality issues
• Working closely with production, warehouse, and operational teams
• Helping reduce waste, rework, and production delays

Requirements

• Previous experience within quality inspection, quality control, manufacturing, production, or a similar environment
• Excellent attention to detail
