The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative based in High Wycombe. This is a full-time temp to perm opportunity offering an immediate start within a friendly and successful manufacturing environment.

The pay rate for this role is £12.71 per hour plus holiday pay, giving a total pay rate of £14.24 per hour.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with small, intricate items and has excellent attention to detail. The role would particularly suit individuals with hobbies or interests that involve precision work such as model making, arts and crafts, miniature painting, jewellery making, origami, electronics, circuit board assembly or similar detailed tasks.

Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with the right attitude, patience and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

• Working on the production and finishing of small precision products
• Using small hand tools to smooth and finish products
• Carrying out detailed quality inspections
• Painting small components with accuracy and precision
• Using microscopes to inspect and work on products
• Identifying and reporting defects to management
• Following quality control procedures
• Working within a clean laboratory-style manufacturing environment
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail
• Supporting production targets and daily schedules

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Alternating shifts between 6:00am and 7:30pm
