Job Purpose
My client who are a fully integrated marketing and communications agency is currently looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Account Manager to join their growing team of communications professionals.
Main Purpose of the Role:
Working closely with the Account team, the Account Manager will execute B2B campaigns on behalf of clients, using a combination of traditional, digital and social media tools and techniques.
Key responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Writing and managing the production of media advisories, blogs, feature contributions, press releases and case studies; tracking hot topics; pitching content ideas to journalists; and helping to devise and implement social media campaigns
- Be the day-to-day point of contact for clients
- Project management responsibilities
- Monitoring and measurement of all PR/social media activity undertaken by AD Communications on behalf of the client
- Actively lead brainstorms and client meetings
- Ensure that all content produced is of the highest quality against key deliverables and deadlines
- Manage suppliers including freelance content developers, translation, photography and other creative industry suppliers where required with the support of the Agency Co-ordinator
- Participate actively in agency marketing, blog development and social media activity
- Show a keen interest in communication best practice and be proactive in offering ideas to optimise agency business
- Developing and maintaining good relationships with key media
- Management and delivery of KFIs
Person Specification
Essential knowledge/ skills/experience
- Working in business to business
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience in full day-to-day management of campaign projects
- Creative writing ability
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Able to work well within a team
- Able to develop strong, collaborative relationships with account team and clients
- A keen interest in new technologies and trends
- A drive to succeed and deliver consistently great work
- Fluency in all key communications channels and experience in delivering engaging content for multiple communications channels
