Mobile Maintenance Gardener – Wimbledon (£14.78–£17.93ph, Immediate Start)

The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Gardener to join an immediate temporary assignment working across high-end private residential gardens in Wimbledon and the surrounding area.

This is a two-week temporary assignment starting Monday, working Monday to Friday with a pay rate of £14.78–£17.93 per hour depending on experience.

You will be responsible for driving the company van, collecting an Assistant Gardener from Raynes Park each morning and travelling between approximately three private residential gardens per day.

This role would suit an experienced garden maintenance professional who is confident working in high-end residential environments, can manage a daily schedule independently and is comfortable dealing professionally with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out general garden maintenance across high-end private residences
• Hedge cutting and trimming
• Lawn mowing and edging
• Use blowers and other garden maintenance equipment
• Weed beds, borders and garden areas
• Carry out general tidying and garden presentation
• Ensure gardens are left clean and presented to a high standard
• Drive the company van between client properties
• Collect the Assistant Gardener from Raynes Park each morning
• Work effectively alongside the Assistant Gardener throughout the day
• Complete approximately three gardens per day depending on the schedule
• Communicate professionally with clients where required
• Operate gardening equipment safely
• Follow appropriate Health & Safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ garden maintenance experience preferred
• Previous experience working within private residential gardens
• Confident using lawn mowers, hedge cutters, blowers and general garden equipment
• Full clean UK driving licence essential
• Must meet company vehicle insurance requirements
• Comfortable driving a company van around South West London
• Good understanding of Health & Safety when using garden machinery
• Able to work efficiently to a daily schedule
• Professional and presentable when attending client homes
• Reliable and punctual
• Available to start Monday
• Available for the full two-week assignment

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8:30am: Collect Assistant Gardener from Raynes Park
9:00am: First garden
Approximately 4:30pm–5:00pm: Finish

The team will typically attend approximately three gardens per day.
