The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative based in Croydon. This is a full time temp to perm opportunity offering long term career prospects with a rapidly growing and successful healthcare business.

The pay rate is £14.00 per hour plus holiday pay, equivalent to £15.69 per hour inclusive.

This FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a busy warehouse team where you will be responsible for forklift operations, stock movement, goods handling, and supporting the wider warehouse function.

The FLT Counterbalance Driver / Warehouse Operative position would suit someone with previous warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for stability, overtime opportunities, and the chance to secure a permanent role within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

• Loading and unloading deliveries

• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse

• Supporting warehouse operations and stock control

• Picking and packing customer orders

• Carrying out general warehouse duties as required

• Driving the company van between local sites when required

• Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

• Assisting with inventory management and stock accuracy

• Following health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements

• Valid and in date Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Previous FLT and warehouse experience

• Good attention to detail

• Strong organisational skills

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Reliable and punctual approach

• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
